Bret Weinstein was on Tucker Carlson’s Twitter show on Friday, and that feels like an opening for more people to understand the problem of the COVID-19 vaccines. I notice that it can feel overwhelming for me to try to address this topic, which is part of the reason that I use a pseudonym here on Substack.
When I say “it can feel overwhelming”, I am referring to understanding the dangers of the COVID-19 vaccines, specifically in the context that our medical institutions are still promoting them. I am referring to the censorship and the persecution of those who have attempted to articulate these dangers.
Outwardly, it may seem that I personally have not suffered significant consequences because of my views on this issue. (Acknowledging that making comparisons of suffering is unwise). I haven’t stuck my neck out quite far enough for my employer or the medical board to reprimand me. What I have experienced is an ongoing fixation on this topic while also feeling frozen and sidelined due to fear. There is a complex response that includes guilt, shame and numbness.
I’m not exactly sure what my co-workers experience as our low-income clinic continues to offer the shots following the guidance of the CDC. My impression is that they are so energetically engaged with the suffering of the patients in front of them, and the burdens of the job as it is, that an invitation to listen to Del Bigtree or Peter McCullough would be immediately swatted down as a defense mechanism of their unconscious minds. I imagine there would still be significant resistance to hearing from Tucker Carlson’s guest on this issue.
Speaking to the spiritual aspect again. It is an act of caring about the truth and caring about the collective at the risk of personal consequences which characterize the decision to address this topic. Posting to Substack (where I use a pseudonym), feels 10x safer than posting to Twitter (where I use my name), which feels 100x safer than raising my hand at a medical staff meeting or requesting an appointment with the medical director of the clinic to discuss. But it may be time to face those fears and find out, because the psychological burden of holding back finally outweighs fear that has imprisoned me.
Does posting opinions to social media make a difference? Yes. I am more likely to encounter the hearts and minds of the human souls I am trying to reach by composing my thoughts in this way than any other strategy I am imagining. It may be that those who read these words refer others to me, and that works too.
What is my hope or motivation for speaking up? (It’s not simply “doing the right thing”. There is a quality of self-righteousness that is not quite enough to balance the risk. Authenticity is closer to the goal, and that comes with the humility to admit that the fear has ruled me.) I want to identify myself as a safe person to speak with for people (perhaps like you) who are feeling this same anxiety that I feel. I want to invite others to reach out to me and I want to make space to listen to them to help move the energy that has been stuck in them.
I can feel two audiences for my writing. For those who have already learned to reject the authority of the medical system, perhaps you can better understand the paralyzing fear that keeps us under its control. And if your response is criticism or judgment, I am willing to endure that for the sake of my true target audience: those who are also feeling trapped and looking for someone who understands. For those people, I am aiming at creating a service to help them heal from the deception that has caused so much confusion and suffering, even if I don’t know the path. I am simply naming the problem so we can stand together and pray to receive the spiritual guidance on the true path forward.
Thanks for reading. May the calamity of the problem lead us to healing and truth.
Hello Waterbird, I surfed on over here via your comment at Madhava Setty's blog. Thank you for blogging.
From what I've seen so far there are many people urging others to speak out, and this is important, obviously, I for one always appreciate it when people speak out (and may my archive of transcripts stand as evidence of my sincere respect and gratitude for those who have).
However, for so many of us, it's not a black and white situation, speak out or don't speak out, but nuanced. Oftentimes, for some people, there are other things we can do that are in fact quite effective-- and if we speak out, then we cannot do them, or cannot do them as effectively as we might otherwise. Another way to say the same thing is, it can be wise to pick one's battles.
Once a battle's picked, go for it. Bam, bam, bam, bam.
The battle I chose is to find, select, and transcribe censored and shadow-banned video and audio from 2021-2023. The point of the transcripts is to help send the words of other people further and wider over physical space and time. My ego would love to take credit for doing this work, but my ego serves me, I don't serve it. Using my real name would not helpful, in fact I think it would just serve as a pointless distraction.
Finally, I note that some of the people who have been the most effective in combatting this covidian catastrophe have been some very low-profile attorneys and also some very low-profile activists who know how to work closely with the legislative process at the state, county, and/or city level.
In short, for some who work for freedom, visibility is a plus, for others it is not. For some, remaining low-profile is cowardice, while for some it is evidence of wisdom and courage to do what most counts. It depends. It's not one size fits all.
Beautifully stated and heartfelt. Thank you Waterbird. I am so very proud to know you and you inspire me to share more deeply again on this topic that seems to have been forgotten by many as a past trauma, yet we must speak up against tyranny in all institutions. How sad that the healing profession has been ground zero for perpetrating crimes against humanity and those who simply want to discuss what we are seeing in our patients (increase in odd cancers, sudden cardiac death in the otherwise healthy, and risk/benefit aka informed consent for new technologies) are vilified and silenced by mainstream narratives and our own medical boards. What we are witnessing is a travesty against humanity and our beloved planet—and all who want to live by truth. I love Bret Weinstein's conclusory statement—at least we have found each other. Those who are truthseekers and truthspeakers are now united in our continued search for the truth.
